Earlier this autumn, our colleagues across Mental Health Concern and Insight IAPT took part in the Great Place to Work Survey, which is run by the Great Place to Work Best Workplaces Programme. The results are in – we have officially achieved accreditation as a Great Place to Work, as decided by our  amazing colleagues!

We put people and communities at the heart of everything we do. This includes providing tailored, person-centred care for the people we support through our talking therapies.

Lots of us feel stressed as we cope with the daily pressures of modern life. However, if we feel highly stressed for a long period of time, this can be bad for our wellbeing and we may begin to feel overwhelmed.

We are very excited to announce the launch of our brand-new AI referral tool, which will help our patients to access our therapies more quickly and easily.

We’re delighted to introduce our new Community Engagement Manager for Nottinghamshire, Martha Highton. Martha has recently stepped into this brand-new, innovative role for Insight IAPT and has since hit the ground running!

Our new Nottinghamshire campaign is focused on empowering people with knowledge and confidence to recognise when someone they know might be struggling with mental ill-health. We want to be able to help people who haven’t been feeling themselves lately to get back on their feet.

The facts and figures surrounding suicide are devastating, which is why this year’s international theme is ‘Creating Hope Through Action’. We can all offer hope if we learn to recognise the signs that someone could be struggling, take action, and seek further help.

We have come together with Diabetes UK, Vita Health Derbyshire, and NHS prevention teams to host an event to improve awareness and management of diabetes in Derbyshire.

We are absolutely delighted that our talking therapies & counselling in Derbyshire service has won a Derbyshire Beacon of Hope Award, nominated by the public! A huge well done to the team for this very well-deserved recognition!
